There is a three way tie between the Las Angeles Rams, the New Orleans Saints, and the Carolina Panthers. Both of these teams are 8 and 3 so the next game is very important for both teams to win. The Rams jumped the Saints with a 26-20 win in LA. The Falcons and Panthers got through the Buccaneers and Jets, respectively, to keep things stay ahead in a tight wild card race. It can put them in a good position or put them further down the list.

There are some other teams that are still alive in their playoff hope as well. The Tennessee Titans are 7and 4. While this is not a bad record they will need to win the next game. The same can be said for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The next game will help determine their place and if they can secure a playoff spot.

With the playoffs approaching soon the teams cannot begin to slip now. They need to continue to play hard to make it to these playoff games and continue their journey.

The 49ers, Browns, and Giants were all officially eliminated after week 12, so they can start getting ready for the 2018 NFL draft.
